If you're a Singer Songwriter who wants to add his/her own vocal and instrument to the mix, read on.
You're a singer songwriter and let's assume you've written 10 or 12 songs and you're ready to make a CD to sell and also you want to put your songs on myspace or any of the other sites like that.
Let's also assume you don't have a band and you're faced with hiring a few musicans, paying them to rehearse with you and then you're going to have to book some time in a studio and hope it all goes well.
What if you had an alternative to all that. You do. What you'll need though is a way to record your vocal and your instrument track and save it as a wav file and put it on a CD.
Here's the way this works. You order the foundation tracks which will be drums, bass (unless that's the instrument you want to play) and rhythm guitar. I will record those tracks (at a steady tempo) and mix them down to an mp3 file and send them to you via email. You will then play the mp3 file and use a multitrack recorder to record your vocal/instrument tracks. Save them as a 16 bit wave file and burn them to a CD and mail them to me.
When I receive your files, I'll load them with the tracks I sent you and add other instrument tracks that you want to purchase for the song and then mix and master the Song. I will then mail you the finished version of your song, along with mp3 files you can use to upload to your favorite networking site on the internet.
When you order the foundation tracks, I'll need an mp3 file of you singing the song the way you want it to be recorded. I'll send you an email requesting that. Wanta here some samples of my work?
